Passion for the Job

It is said that education is the key to success. Our parents always tell us that we need to study hard for us to have a better future. With right and proper education, we can land into a better job with a higher salary. It would then be easier for us to build our own family, have our own house and live a satisfying life.

Salary is not everything though. Having a high salary, even if it is as high as a dental hygienist salary, does not conquer all. We should always take note that we need to enjoy what we are doing. We need to love what we do. Otherwise, having a high salary would be useless. We can be expert effortlessly if we have passion for our jobs. Eventually, the true feeling we have for our profession will show in our performance. We can never hide this from the people especially to ourselves.

A Job I Will Never Do

I acknowledge the fact that dental hygienist salary is one of the highest paying salaries of any job in the dental field in the world. Such profession is also highly demanded. However, it would be the last job I would be doing. I have never dreamed in becoming a dentist nor do I want to be his assistant. I do not have anything against a dentist especially a dental hygienist. I just do not like dealing with teeth, gums and tough. I am even having a hard time looking in a mirror which reflects my mouth wide open. I find it disgusting. I cannot stand watching a patient's mouth. I cannot imagine myself encountering such same scenario every day of my life. I think that would be disaster.

I would rather get a smaller salary than be faced with something I can barely do. Perhaps, there is another profession best suited for me.I will know soon.
